Ashton is only about a year old, an Anatolian Shepherd mix weighing around 70+ lbs. He has a big heart and an even bigger personality. He is playful, social, loves people, and enjoys being around other dogs.

Sadly, Ashton was adopted as a puppy by people who were not prepared for the needs of his breed. They could not handle his energy and size as he grew, and now this sweet boy has ended up in a shelter through no fault of his own.

But Ashton is not a bad dog. He is just a young dog who loves to play, stay active, and be part of a family. He needs someone who understands large guardian breeds and is willing to give him the time, patience, guidance, and structure he deserves.

He is still just a baby with his whole life ahead of him. Please do not let his story end before it truly begins. Ashton urgently needs a forever home with someone who understands that dogs like him need love, space, attention, and commitment.
