Meet Duke! This stunning 2-year-old Husky boasts striking blue eyes and a fluffy coat, with a personality as boundless as the arctic tundra! Duke was rescued from rural South Texas, where he was living alone in a backyard, chained to a tree. Thankfully, he was surrendered due to lack of care and came to us wagging his tail with an unbreakable spirit.

Duke thrives on adventure and is the ultimate running buddy for hiking, jogging, or even a casual neighborhood stroll. He knows basic commands like "sit," is very treat-motivated, and is a quick learner who loves belly rubs, pool time, hugs, and smooches. Duke's story is a beautiful reminder that rescue dogs aren't broken; they're just waiting for the right adventure.

Ideal Home

Duke will need a home that offers positive reinforcement, structure, and a fenced backyard. He does well with other dogs but is not a good fit for homes with cats. He is also best suited for a family with children over the age of 10.

Duke is neutered and vaccinated.

Duke is a quick learner who responds well to positive reinforcement. He knows basic commands and is treat-motivated. He would benefit from a patient family who can provide him with structure and continued positive guidance.
