Meet Harper! This beautiful senior Shepherd is waiting for her forever home. Harper is spayed and up-to-date on her shots. She's a wonderful companion but has decided she'd prefer to be the only "princess" in her future home, as she's had some past experiences that make her scared of other dogs and cats. Harper is house-trained and walks beautifully on a leash. She'd love an active parent who enjoys long walks and hikes, and who will appreciate her company as much as she will appreciate theirs. At the rescue, Harper is great with people and enjoys watching the world go by from the play yard after getting her exercise and attention from the staff and volunteers. If you're looking for a devoted companion to be your ride-or-die and BFF, Harper is ready to meet you! She's even open to a day outing to get to know each other better. Harper was born in July 2017 and is currently located at the facility in Justin.

Ideal Home

Harper would love an active parent who can take her on long walks and hikes. She needs to be the only pet in the household, as she is not comfortable with other dogs or cats.

Ongoing Health

Harper is spayed and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations. She is current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

Training & Support

Harper is house-trained and walks well on a leash. She enjoys people and is well-behaved when interacting with staff and volunteers.

• Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heart-worm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost.
