Meet Sussy, your potential new adventure buddy! This approximately 3-year-old, 60-pound Labrador mix was rescued from the streets of Houston, Texas, and is now dreaming of a loving forever home. Sussy is pure joy in dog form, always sporting a smile and radiating a happy, loving personality that's impossible to resist. She's incredibly loyal, polite, and smart, forming deep connections with her favorite people. If you're looking for a playful, energetic, and athletic companion for all your outdoor escapades – think hiking, running, camping, or just enjoying nature – Sussy is your girl! She's already crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is a fantastic car rider, making her a wonderful companion for everyday life and exciting adventures alike. Sussy has waited long enough for her family, and in return for your love, she promises endless smiles, unwavering loyalty, and a lifetime of unforgettable memories.
Ideal Home
Sussy would thrive with an active family that enjoys outdoor activities and can include her in their daily adventures. A home with a fenced backyard is preferred. Families should have an open mind and understanding regarding the behaviors of rescued street animals, requiring patience, education, and protection. Prior experience with dog behavior and training, along with a high tolerance and patience for rescued pups, is a plus. Please note, Sussy is not house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Sussy has completed her health protocol, which includes being spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and tested negative for heartworm. She also has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Sussy is not house-trained, and this will require dedicated effort and patience from her new family. While she walks nicely on a leash and rides well in the car, her new owners should be prepared to work on her house-training needs.

Transportation
Sussy is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. She is available for transport to the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest if adopted. A transport fee of $400.00 will be paid by the adopter prior to departure.
