Keri is a sweet, mellow lady who originally came to us from Kuwait in 2019 after a difficult start to life. She was adopted in 2020 but sadly lost her home through no fault of her own. Despite her past, Keri is a well-mannered girl with a very relaxed attitude, though she could benefit from a little more pep in her step! She is currently a bit overweight, partly due to her thyroid and partly due to being overfed and under-exercised. Keri is generally good with dogs her own size, but can be a bit particular and prefers not to be bothered by yappy small dogs. She's not a fan of cats, and her ideal situation would be to be the only pet in the household, or with very mellow canine companions.
Ideal Home
Keri would love a home with a moderately lazy owner who will commit to ensuring she gets a daily walk or two and is fed an appropriate amount. She's the perfect companion for someone who enjoys quiet nights in, perhaps watching true crime documentaries together. She truly shines as a "ride or die" for one special person, showering them with all her love and affection.
Ongoing Health
Keri has a thyroid condition that is being managed. She is also currently overweight, and her new family will need to focus on a healthy diet and exercise plan to help her reach her ideal weight of around 45 pounds.
Training & Support
Keri is already exceedingly well-mannered and knows many commands. With consistent feeding and exercise, she will be a wonderful companion. Her key to success lies in a dedicated owner who understands her need for a specific person to love and bond with.
