Chetty JuM

Chetty is a jazzy lovebug looking for a special family to hold onto and never let go! This female Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix is still learning the ropes, like being comfortable in a crate and walking confidently on a leash, but with a little more practice, she'll get there. Her foster family is showering her with love and teaching her so much, and she's eager to return all that affection. Chetty has a mid-to-high energy level and can sometimes forget her size, especially when her favorite humans come home – prepare for a happy, bouncy greeting! She gets along great with kids, but it's a good idea to remind little ones to be mindful of her enthusiastic greetings. Chetty is curious about cats and has been known to chase them, so a home without cats or with a feline who can stand their ground would be ideal.

Ideal Home

Chetty would do best in a household with no cats or cats that can hold their own. She is a mid-to-high energy dog and can sometimes forget her size around people, so an active family would be a great fit.

Training & Support

Chetty is still learning to be comfortable in a crate and walk confidently on a leash. She can be very excitable when her humans return home and may jump on them.
