Hello, my name is Poppy! I'm a spayed female Golden Retriever, born around June 9, 2021, and I weigh about 89.1 lbs. I'm a gentle soul who spent my younger years raising puppies, and now I'm ready for a peaceful retirement filled with love. I'm still a bit shy and unsure, but with each passing week, I gain more confidence and learn what it's like to be a cherished member of a family. I love being close to my people and happily follow them around. I also get along wonderfully with children and other dogs, often finding comfort and guidance from them. I seem to do well with cats too!

Ideal Home

I would thrive in a quieter home with another dog to help me feel more secure. A securely fenced yard would be amazing for me to safely explore and enjoy my freedom.

Ongoing Health

I'm spayed and up to date on all my vaccinations and preventatives.

Training & Support

I'm doing wonderfully in my foster home and seem to be house-trained. With a little patience, understanding, and lots of love, I'm sure to blossom into the devoted companion I'm meant to be!
