Scrappy (20260603-06)

Scrappy is an adorable 2-month-old pup with an estimated weight of 10-20 lbs. He's a resilient little guy who, along with his siblings, was found in rough shape in Gilmer, TX, believed to have been dumped. Thankfully, with good food, medical care, and love, Scrappy has made incredible progress. His skin is healthy, his fur is growing back beautifully, and his playful puppy personality is shining through! He loves his mornings filled with zoomies and play, afternoons exploring, and nights snuggled up in a puppy cuddle pile. Scrappy adores people and has a special fondness for the home's 5-year-old child. He's also curious about the resident big dogs and respectful of the cats. Scrappy is affectionate, social, active, and learning what it feels like to be safe, loved, and cherished.

Ideal Home

Scrappy would thrive in a home that can continue to provide him with the love, security, and attention he deserves. He's already shown a fondness for children and is curious about other pets, suggesting he could do well in a home with existing pets and a family, provided introductions are managed positively.

Ongoing Health

Scrappy is not yet neutered. He has recovered from a rough start that involved fleas, hair loss, and irritated skin, and is now doing wonderfully.

Training & Support

As a young puppy, Scrappy will benefit from continued socialization and positive reinforcement training. His playful puppy energy will require consistent guidance to help him learn and grow into a well-behaved companion.
