Leroy (pronounced La Roy)

Hi there, my name is Leroy, and yes, these southern volunteers pronounce it La Roy! I arrived at the shelter about six months ago with my siblings, Virginia, Arrow, and Benny. While I may look a bit big and clumsy, I promise I'm a gentle giant with a heart of gold. I'm not the most energetic pup, but I absolutely love to goof around with my buddy Benny and the wonderful Joplin. I get along well with the other dogs here; I know my place and always aim to be a good boy.

I really enjoy my time with the volunteers, especially when they give me a bath and wrap me up in a fuzzy towel for a hug. My dream is to find a comfy couch or a soft dog bed to call my own, and most importantly, a loving family to share it with. Do you happen to have an extra spot for a sweet boy like me? I'm not entirely sure if I'm fully house-trained yet, as I haven't had much experience living in a home. However, I'm learning to hold it and try my best to go when I'm outside for playtime.

Ideal Home

Leroy would love a nice couch or dog bed where he can relax and a family to shower him with love.

Leroy is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Leroy is working on his house training and is still learning to be fully house-trained. He tries to wait to poop and pee for when he gets outside to run and play.
