Meet Chance!

This handsome seven-year-old Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler mix, weighing in at a sturdy 95 pounds, has a calm and laidback presence that will bring peace to your home. His striking eyes and dark brown and tan coat make him look like a gentle guardian, equally happy lounging on the couch or watching over the backyard. Chance thrives in a family setting and loves being near his people, whether he's resting at your feet, supervising dinner prep, or snoring softly in his crate.

Ideal Home

Chance would love a family environment where he can share his steady companionship. He does well with children and enjoys being part of the household activities.

Ongoing Health

Chance has recently started thyroid medication, and the positive changes are wonderful to see! He's more energized and playful, and his coat is improving. He requires regular grooming, including care for his extra dewclaws. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Transferable pet insurance is available to support his continued care.

Training & Support

Chance is house-trained and politely lets you know when he needs to go outside. He benefits from clear boundaries and structured routines, especially around food, as he is ruled by his nose. He knows an impressive list of commands, including sit, stay, down, come, roll over, shake, go lay down, walk fast, and "time for bed." He settles well when left alone.
