Belle is a charming 1-year-old mixed breed, weighing 53 pounds, who was rescued from the streets of Houston with her mom and siblings during a freeze. She's now thriving in a foster home and is ready to find her forever family! Belle is the total package – a total sweetheart who loves her humans and enjoys cuddling up for a night of sleep. She's adaptable, happy to join you for a jog, or curl up on the couch for a Netflix binge. Belle truly loves everyone she meets, greeting them with tail wags and kisses, and is always up for belly rubs and gentle baby talk.
Ideal Home
Belle would do well in a home with a moderate energy level. She enjoys playing with other dogs but also loves cuddle time. She is good with children of all ages and has frequently interacted with a 6-year-old and a 20-month-old, showing gentleness and sweetness. While she previously lived with cats as a puppy, a cat test can be arranged for potential adopters. Belle is not a fan of small dogs and has shown food aggression towards the little dog in her foster home; this has never been directed towards people or children.

Belle is fully vaccinated and microchipped. She is currently healthy and ready for her forever home.
Training & Support
Belle is fully potty trained and crate trained, happily going into her crate when her foster family is away. She walks calmly on a leash. Her only noted behavioral quirk is food aggression specifically towards small dogs.
