Velvet

Velvet is the kind of dog that just wants to be part of your life. She wants to ride shotgun on errands, follow you around the house, curl up next to you on the couch, and be included in whatever you’re doing. She bonds deeply with her people and has so much love to give. After a rough few months filled with constant change and multiple transitions, Velvet finally got the chance to slow down, decompress, and settle into a stable environment. She’s smart, affectionate, playful, eager to connect, and thrives when she feels safe and understood. Velvet is a female Lab/Shepherd mix, approximately 3–5 years old. She has had basic obedience training and is incredibly people-oriented. Whether it’s weekend adventures or movie nights at home, she’s happiest just being with her person.

Ongoing Health

Velvet is heartworm positive but is already on treatment.

Velvet has had basic obedience training and is house-trained. She is people-oriented and eager to connect.
