Our German Shepherd puppies are raised in our home on a working family farm, where they are handled daily and thoughtfully exposed to children, animals, and everyday life.

This litter is the result of a carefully considered pairing between a red and black long-coat show-line dam and a sable working-line sire, bringing together beauty, intelligence, and balanced temperament. Our goal is to raise confident, well-adjusted dogs that thrive as both loyal companions and capable working partners.

Both parents have undergone health testing, including OFA hip evaluations, with genetic screening through Embark in process.

Puppies are AKC pre-registered and will go home with age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and a full health record.

We are committed to placing each puppy in a home that is the right long-term fit and are always happy to answer questions as you consider whether this breed is right for your lifestyle.

Meet Sarah Umstead | Folded Hills German Shepherds. We are a small, family-based program located on a working farm in Middle Tennessee, where our dogs are raised as part of our everyday life, not in kennels. Our German Shepherds are thoughtfully selected for both temperament and structure, and each litter is planned with intention. We value sound minds just as much as strong, beautiful dogs, and our goal is to raise puppies that are confident, well-adjusted, and deeply loyal. From the very beginning, our puppies are handled daily and exposed to children, animals, and the natural rhythm of farm and home life. This early foundation helps them transition more easily into their new homes, whether as active family companions or working partners. We care deeply about where our puppies go and are committed to placing them in homes that are the right long-term fit.
