About SLICK- Needs a forever home!

Slick is a handsome Lab mix who was surrendered to our rescue when his senior owners could no longer care for him. He's estimated to be around 9 years old and absolutely loves playing with stuffed toys! Slick would be an awesome companion for someone looking for an experienced older guy.

Ideal Home

Slick would be happiest in a home with a totally enclosed, physically fenced yard. He is looking for a home without children.

Ongoing Health

Slick is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Slick is house and crate trained. We require all dogs over the age of 1 year to attend one obedience class (a 6-week session) outside the home.

  • Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
  • All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes; we do not do same-day adoptions.
  • A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and that they get along with your resident dog(s) and/or cat(s).
  • You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI, to adopt one of our dogs.
  • No out-of-state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters.
  • Slick's adoption fee is $300.
