Kim is a handsome 1-year-old male mix of Border Collie and Labrador, weighing around 32 lbs. He's a sweet, loving, and joyful boy who is full of energy and ready for adventures! Kim enjoys playing with other dogs and is also cat-friendly. He was found abandoned at the shelter's doorstep and, unfortunately, tested positive for parvo. He underwent hospitalization and has since made a full recovery. Kim is a smart pup who would thrive with training and has a lot of potential to be an amazing companion.
Ideal Home
Kim would do best in an active home that enjoys outdoor activities and has a fenced backyard. Families with experience in dog behavior and training, who have a high tolerance and patience for rescued pups, will be ideal. It's important for potential adopters to understand the needs of rescued animals and be prepared for an adjustment period.
Ongoing Health
Kim is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. He has also been dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm. He receives monthly preventive treatment for fleas, ticks, and heartworm (Nexgard Spectra). A spay/neuter certificate and a health certificate are included.
Training & Support
Kim is leash and crate trained and enjoys car rides. However, it's important to note that he is not house-trained. Adopters should be prepared for the commitment of continued training and understanding that rescued dogs may have a period of adjustment.
