Gracie Mae is a charming five-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix with a gentle spirit and a warm, golden coat. This medium-sized girl, weighing around 40 pounds, has a curious nature and a musical hound's heart. She thrives on structure and routine, which helps her feel confident and relaxed. Gracie Mae adores her stuffy toys and sturdy Benebones, and a game of fetch can bring out her playful side. When playtime winds down, she loves to snuggle close, often resting her head near her person's face as if sharing a sweet secret.
Gracie Mae has experience in a busy household with children and has handled activity and movement with patience and calm. She is comfortable around kids and enjoys being part of family life. Her friendly and steady nature helps her adjust well to the energy of a home full of people. She has also lived successfully with another dog and is generally comfortable around people. Her experience with cats is limited, and her hound instincts might lead her to chase small animals, so thoughtful introductions and attentive guidance will be important.

Outdoor sounds can sometimes make her uncertain, and she doesn't currently signal when she needs to go outside, often preferring the familiarity of pee pads.
