Tahoe Trailblazer is a handsome and athletic 1.5-year-old shepherd mix, weighing around 57 lbs. He thrives on activity and engagement, making him the perfect companion for an active individual or family. Tahoe is social, people-loving, and eager to learn, always ready for an adventure. He's a smart and adaptable dog who enjoys being involved in his family's life.
Ideal Home
Tahoe would thrive in a home that offers plenty of opportunities for activity and enrichment, whether it's hiking, playing in the yard, or engaging in training sessions. He is not a dog who wants to be left alone for long periods. He should not live with cats and would do best with dogs over 25 lbs, as smaller dogs might be overwhelmed by his size and enthusiasm.
Ongoing Health
Tahoe is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations, Bordetella, Rabies, multiple deworming treatments, and flea/heartworm prevention. He has also been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Tahoe is house-trained and crate-trained. While he can be enthusiastic in his greetings and may gently jump up to say hello, he responds well to guidance and corrections. Continued training will help him thrive and is something he will likely enjoy. He recovers quickly from stress or overstimulation and benefits from consistency and structure.

Tahoe is currently in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport tracking and photo updates are provided.
