Benny is a handsome 4-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of sweetness and a love for all things water! He weighs between 45-50 pounds and is already neutered and up-to-date on his shots. Benny is also heartworm negative, crate trained, and potty trained, making him a well-adjusted companion. He found himself at a rural Texas shelter through no fault of his own, but he's ready for his second chance at a forever home. Benny enjoys playing with other dogs, both male and female, of medium to large size. While he was previously adopted, the proper introductions weren't made, leading to his return. He absolutely loves car rides and doesn't suffer from any separation anxiety when left alone. Benny's favorite activities include splashing in the pool and an incredible passion for Frisbee, which he can chase for hours! He's an intelligent and energetic dog who thrives in an active environment, but he's not hyper. Benny would be a fantastic running buddy and a loyal companion.

Ideal Home

Benny needs an active home where he can join in on the fun! His past return was due to improper introductions to other dogs, so a home that can ensure he has positive interactions will set him up for success.

Benny is up-to-date on his shots and is heartworm negative.

Benny is already crate trained and potty trained. He is smart and eager to please, making him a trainable companion for his future family.
