A little about them
Coop is a bluetick mix and pittie/lab mix puppy. His mother is around 45 pounds, and his father is around 50 pounds. Puppies are matched with approved adopters based on personality, with behavioral evaluations at 8 weeks helping guide placement.
Ideal Home
- A local adopter within 2–3 hours of Hampton Roads, Virginia, or northeastern North Carolina.
- Someone home during the day to help begin crate training, housebreaking, and leash walking.
- Continued crate training and socialization are expected; puppy training classes are strongly encouraged.
Ongoing Health
Coop was born on August 11, 2026, and will receive two vaccines before going home. The adopter is responsible for his third booster and rabies vaccine and must provide proof to CCRT along with heartworm prevention records.
Training & Support
A partnered trainer will conduct behavioral evaluations at 8 weeks to help match each puppy with the best home. Coop will go home under a puppy care contract, and CCRT will provide veterinary records and microchip information after the spay/neuter appointment and official adoption contract are completed.

- A one-week adoption trial is offered.
- After the trial, the adoption fee is $275.
