Rip

Meet Rip! This goofy, happy-go-lucky pup is ready to bring some chaos goblin energy and endless cuddles into your life. Rip and his siblings were unfortunately abandoned, but they've bounced back with incredible resilience and a love for people and other dogs. He's a pro at the "Pittie Lean" and loves a good squeaky toy to "destroy." Despite his playful nature, Rip also loves to snuggle and will happily believe he's a lap dog, no matter his 55lb frame! He's mastered "Sit" and "Boop" and is a quick learner, especially when treats are involved. Rip is fully potty trained, enjoys his crate, and is always up for an adventure or a car ride, but he also knows how to settle down nicely.

Ideal Home

Rip would do well in any type of home and has been great with the children in his foster home (9 and 12 years old).

Ongoing Health

Rip has been diagnosed with Discospondylitis and is currently undergoing treatment that involves daily medication, which he takes easily with his food. His treatment plan includes continued medication, but his prognosis for a long, healthy life is good! He will need to use a harness for walks to avoid putting pressure on his neck from a collar.

Training & Support

Rip is working on his puppy manners but learns quickly, especially with treats. He will need continued training and supervision as all puppies do.
