Swifty is a bright, affectionate, and adventurous girl who brings equal parts energy and heart to everything she does. She loves staying active- whether that's swimming, training, or exploring the world by your side- but she's just as happy winding down for snuggles once the fun is done. Swifty may have been a fish in a past life because she loves the water and can't resist a good splash! She's always excited for toys, especially stuffies and enjoys activities that let her use her brain like puzzle toys and agility training. Swifty thrives in an active home that can keep her mind and body engaged. She can happily entertain herself with toys, but she truly shines when she has opportunities to play, learn, and bond with her people and a friendly dog companion. If you're looking for a smart, spirited, and loving side kick, Swifty is ready to meet you. Swifty's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous supporter, and this fun girl is ready for her next adventure.
Ideal Home
Swifty thrives in an active home that can keep her mind and body engaged. She would do best in a home with kids 12 and older, as she can become jumpy when overly excited. She would do best with a confident cat as she will try to play.
Ongoing Health
Swifty is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. She is microchipped, and the microchip will automatically register when an adoption is finalized.
Training & Support
Swifty is housebroken and will go to the door and indicate when she needs to potty. She is also crate trained and comfortable being crated, doing well when left home alone for a full workday. Swifty may pull when excited-especially when she spots new people or dogs she'd like to greet-but she's making great progress with consistent positive reinforcement training.
