Zara

Zara is a stunning German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix who's out here proving that beauty and brains absolutely go together! She's one of three siblings, which means she got plenty of one-on-one attention and learned early on how to hold her own alongside her sister and brother. Small litter, big personality. She comes from two seriously impressive working breeds, so Zara is shaping up to be sharp, athletic, and stunning, with a plush multi-colored coat of white, tan, and copper, and those soulful eyes peeking out from her little "mask" markings. She is four months old and will grow into an athletic, medium-large pup with serious working-dog instincts. She's currently accepting applications for hiking buddies and couch cuddles.

Ideal Home

This girl inherited double the herding genes, so she's going to want a job, a routine, and a family who's ready to keep her mind and body busy.

Ongoing Health

Puppies receive age-appropriate vaccinations and other routine care prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Give her structure, exercise, and training, and you'll have a devoted, whip-smart companion who will happily out-think you for the next 10-13 years.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• A $250 spay/neuter deposit is required at time of adoption. This fee covers spay/neuter at one of our preferred veterinary partners. If you choose to use your own veterinarian, the deposit will be returned with proof of sterilization.

Transporation

Zara is located at our partner facility in Frederick, MD. Transportation may be available to surrounding states for approved adopters.
