Meet Dolly!

Dolly is a 5-year-old Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix who weighs around 70 pounds. She's a sweet soul who was surrendered by her family who claimed they no longer had time for her. This is particularly heartbreaking because Dolly was once a registered emotional support animal, offering endless comfort, loyalty, and love. Despite her past, she remains a loving and gentle dog.

Dolly absolutely adores people and attention. She's known for her gentle "Great Pyrenees hugs" and loves to be pampered with pets and affection, often rolling over for belly rubs. She's a lower-energy girl who walks wonderfully on a leash, preferring a leisurely pace to enjoy her surroundings. Dolly gets along well with other dogs, especially those who are calm, and has also done well with cats and children. She truly loves everyone she meets!

Ideal Home

Dolly would thrive in a home fully committed to loving her. A yard where she can peacefully roam and relax would be ideal, as apartment living is not her preference. She would do best with someone who is home more often than not, as she can get a bit lonely and will whine when left alone. She is trustworthy in the home and not destructive when left loose.
