Bijou

Bijou is a sweet little Poodle mix, about 2-3 years old and weighing 10 pounds. He was found abandoned in a crate by the side of the road, matted and terrified. It's been a long journey, but Bijou has made excellent progress in his foster home and has come such a long way! While still a bit shy when meeting new people, he is incredibly sweet and affectionate with his foster mom. When he gets excited to see her, he does the adorable "tippy tappies," which has earned him his nickname! He also loves his foster siblings and is eager to make new canine friends.

Ideal Home

Bijou would thrive in a home with another confident dog who can help him learn the ropes and build his confidence. A fenced yard is also required to give him a safe space to explore and play.

Ongoing Health

Bijou has been neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Bijou can be shy when meeting new people. Patience and gentle introductions will be key to helping him feel comfortable in his new home. He loves his foster siblings, so continuing to encourage positive interactions with other dogs will be beneficial.
