Chip is a sweet, 2-year-old, neutered male Pit Bull mix who weighs about 60 lbs. He's as charming as his name suggests and is looking for an experienced adopter to shower him with patience, safety, and endless love. Chip is a true cuddle bug and shadow, always wanting to be by his people's side. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, he quickly blossoms into a loyal best friend once he trusts you. He loves sniffing walks, is a pro on the leash, crate-trained, potty-trained, and enjoys his time outdoors. He's also quite the fashionista and enjoys sporting costumes!
Ideal Home
Chip does well with calm, dog-friendly siblings who enjoy his playful spirit. Slow introductions are recommended. He would also be content as an only dog, provided he gets opportunities for social outings. Chip would prefer to live in a home without cats. He can experience anxiety when left alone but is working on it with crate training. His ideal humans will understand his need for companionship and be willing to continue his training. He has also done well around older children.
Ongoing Health
Chip is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health concerns mentioned.
Training & Support
Chip is crate-trained and potty-trained. He is working on his separation anxiety and can be crated when left alone. He would thrive with a family committed to continuing his training.
