Meet Penny Jane, a super cute and sweet Miniature Australian Shepherd mix who is approximately 3.5 years old and weighs 12 pounds. This adorable tricolor girl with unique, mismatched eyes is a true survivor! She was found after being dumped in a rural area, where she navigated wildlife for weeks before bravely wandering up to a farmhouse. Kind people worked patiently to earn her trust, and it took time for her to feel safe enough to eat from their hands and eventually come inside.

Penny Jane is a devoted companion who loves being close to her people, whether snoozing nearby or cuddling on the couch. She absolutely adores affection, especially belly rubs and cuddles! She enjoys walks, both on and off leash, and loves exploring trails. Penny Jane currently gets along well with a male King Cavalier and seems to prefer male dogs over females. She would likely do best in a home with a male canine companion or as the sole princess of the household. She thrives on being part of the family's activities and doesn't want to be isolated.
