Ruby is a charming 7-year-old, medium-sized pup originally from Zambezia. He absolutely adores lounging in sunbeams and is a master of communication, letting you know exactly what he wants – be it a walk, a treat, or a good snuggle. Once he trusts you, Ruby becomes incredibly devoted and is the most wonderful hiking and walking companion! While he was once a bit anxious, he's now quite confident in his surroundings.

Ideal Home

Ruby would thrive in an adult-only home with experienced owners who are patient and understand his potential for behavior issues. He needs a calm environment with few visitors and no other pets.

Ongoing Health

Ruby's past anxiety and fear-based resource guarding have been well-managed with medication and a predictable routine. He has had great training to address these issues.

Training & Support

Ruby thrives with predictable routines and calm, gentle leadership. He's a very smart boy who needs to know you have his back. His new owners will need to be willing to maintain his training.
