Boots (aka Birdie)

Boots, also known as Birdie by her foster, is a sweet, friendly, and affectionate female Lab mix puppy with an old soul. She was found abandoned on the side of a highway in south Texas with her sisters, but they survived by taking shelter under a car for two weeks before being rescued. Despite her tough start, Boots is a remarkably gentle and loving puppy. She's a quiet and thoughtful shadow dog who enjoys following you around, and she's eager to please without being demanding.

Ideal Home

Boots would thrive in a home with people of all ages, including children, and would likely do well with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Boots has been vetted, vaccinated, and microchipped with lifetime registration.

Training & Support

She is currently working on house training and is using pee pads. She is eager to please, which will be a great asset as she continues her training.
