Gaia June is sweeter than honey, and she's ready to bring a calm, comforting presence into your life. She's a 3-year-old Lab/Pittie mix, weighing around 76 lbs. Gaia has a gentle nature that will make you feel at ease the moment you meet her. Her soulful eyes and quiet affection are incredibly grounding, making any house feel more peaceful. Ideal Home
Gaia would thrive in a home where she can share her calm and loving energy. She's been great with children as young as 7 and would likely do well in a family environment. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she prefers a peaceful coexistence rather than boisterous play. A calm, respectful canine companion who matches her easygoing nature would be ideal. She has also shown to be respectful of cats and can be tested with one in your home.
Ongoing Health
Gaia is a rescue dog, and while we believe she's around 3 years old, breed and age cannot be guaranteed. She is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies. She has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed.
Training & Support
Gaia is crate trained and has excellent house manners. She walks beautifully on a leash and has a medium-to-low energy level, enjoying comfortable couch time, soft voices, and quality time with her people. She bonds deeply with her family and may quietly wait near doors when you leave, hoping for your return. This shows her deep attachment, but it's not unmanageable.

Transporation
Gaia is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide with our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
