Meet Lainey, a beautiful girl with a heart and soul bigger than her body! Lainey was brought in as a stray in November 2025, and she’s estimated to be around three years old. She’s currently being fostered in Addison, Texas, and has truly bloomed under her foster’s care. Her personality is that of a house hippo; she sleeps with her stuffed animal babies all day long on the couch, with short zoomies breaks fueled by a chew bone. She loves following her foster’s two-year-old around the house and is especially fond of children. Lainey has been dog and cat friendly, loves long walks, and doesn't pull on the leash, staying right by your side. She rarely barks and is usually very quiet! Potty training is going well, and she hasn’t had an accident in a long time.
Ideal Home
Lainey would prefer a home with calmer pets, as she can get nervous around loud or energetic dogs and will try to hide. Loud noises from people and toddler tantrums do not affect her.
Ongoing Health
Lainey is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment, which is fully covered by Mutts N Such Rescue.
Training & Support
Lainey is doing very well with potty training and is quiet and a good walker.
