About Sleepy

Meet Sleepy, a smart and curious 5-month-old Blue Heeler puppy weighing approximately 16 pounds! Sleepy and his family were rescued when his mother gave birth in a safe place. He had the chance to grow up safe and healthy, and now he's ready to find his forever home. Sleepy is incredibly intelligent and observant, always taking in his surroundings with thoughtful eyes. He's playful, energetic, and full of puppy enthusiasm, enjoying toys and exploring. As a member of an active working breed, he will thrive with a family that can provide plenty of daily exercise and mental enrichment through training and interactive activities. Sleepy gets along well with other dogs and is comfortable around children, men, and women. With continued positive guidance and socialization, he has all the potential to become an incredible lifelong companion. If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, and active best friend who will happily join you on all of life's adventures, Sleepy may be the perfect match for you!

Ideal Home

  • Families that enjoy outdoor activities
  • A home with a fenced backyard
  • Families with an open conscience about the needs of rescued animals, understanding their need for protection and education
  • Experience in dog behavior and training is preferred
  • High tolerance and patience for rescued puppies

Ongoing Health

Sleepy has completed his spay/neuter, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, and a negative heartworm test. He also has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Sleepy is not yet house-trained. The rescue team works hard to provide health rehabilitation for their animals, but due to the large number of pets in foster care, it's impossible to house-train each one. Continued positive guidance and socialization will be key to his development.
