Meet Finn! This handsome 52 lb bulldog is approximately 1 year old and is ready to roll into your heart! Finn absolutely adores Starbucks pup cups, his canine companions, and all things toys. He has a medium energy level, making him a great candidate for adventure buddies or a couch potato companion. He loves to go out and meet new people, and is always looking for a friendly face (or a snack!). His favorite things include pets, squeaky toys, and "bowling for humans" when he gets excited. He even thinks he can still fit on his foster mom's lap like a tiny puppy! Finn is crate trained and will happily hop in for a treat.
Ideal Home
Finn would do well in a home with a fenced yard or with owners who can provide safe, enclosed spaces for him to play. He loves to wrestle and tumble with other dogs, so a home with doggie siblings would be great! Due to his enthusiastic greetings, he might not be the best fit for homes where people are prone to falling or have knee issues.
Ongoing Health
Finn was born with two congenital birth defects. He had a dermoid cyst on his right eye which was surgically corrected, and while we're not sure of his exact vision, he may be able to see shadows. No further eye care is needed. He also has ectrodactyly, or "lobster claw," in his front right leg. Vets have confirmed this doesn't require further action at this time, and Finn gets around on it just fine. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is up-to-date on monthly heartworm and flea medication.
Training & Support
Finn is a work in progress when it comes to house-training. He usually remembers to go to the door, but sometimes gets too excited during play and has an accident indoors. He always poops outside.
