Hi there! My name is Cane, and I'm a Carolina Dog Mix, weighing in at about 36.2lbs. My estimated birthday is June 8, 2025, and I'm told I'm quite the charmer! My foster family says I have a beautiful cream-colored coat, huge ears that are always on alert, and a personality to match – I'm always smiling and ready for fun! I absolutely adore people and other dogs, and I'm always eager to join in on any adventure, whether it's exploring, going for a walk, or just being part of the family fun. I'm a young, energetic girl with a curious spirit and a whole lot of love to give. My journey started a bit rough, finding myself in a crowded shelter, but thankfully Sunnyside Street Dogs gave me a second chance. Now, I'm safe and sound, eagerly waiting for my forever home where I can bring endless laughs and tail wags!

Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state.
- Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog.
- Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
- Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
- All of our adopters are invited to join our Alum Pupdates Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
Transporation
I'm currently located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and is coordinated with third-party services. You can track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates, or through Facebook chats.
