Meet Nelson, a delightful 1-year-old, 56 lb. male mix of Black Mouth Cur and Shepherd! Nelson is pure sunshine in dog form, a joyful and sweet boy whose happy-go-lucky personality is sure to brighten your days. He loves making new friends and has a contagious smile that he loves to share with everyone he meets.

Nelson thrives in the company of other dogs and enjoys having canine companions for playtime and general hangouts. He's a social butterfly who adores attention and is happiest when showered with pets, praise, and affection.

Nelson would love a home where he can get plenty of attention and has opportunities to play with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Nelson is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Nelson is currently working on his leash skills and is learning more every day. With a little continued guidance and consistency, he'll be a fantastic walking and adventure partner. He is not yet house-trained.
