All puppies are up-to-date on vaccinations and have had their dewclaws removed. They come from parents who have undergone health clearances, including OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) evaluations for hips and elbows, and CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation) testing.

Training & Support

As puppies, they will need consistent training and socialization to grow into well-behaved adult dogs. Early positive reinforcement training is highly recommended.

Meet Mason's Inlet Retrievers. Jennifer Merritt is from North Carolina and breeds Labrador Retrievers. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual. Bettering the breed is where we stand, as well as ensuring that your next family companion checks every box. We are committed to health testing every dog we add to our family and breeding program. Our dogs are tested through OFA to warrant that puppies produced will be healthy and free of genetic health issues. All dogs and puppies are raised indoors, loved on daily and are a part of our family; this is extremely important to us. Training begins at 3 weeks of age to ensure the smoothest transition from our family to yours. Before leaving, babies are started on crate training, potty training and basic obedience training. From there, babies go home with an extensive portfolio that includes training information for you to continue the process in your home.
