Meet Aleannan Border Collies. Thank you for your interest in our puppies. We're a very small, family operated, AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. kennel, we are both Breeders of Merit, our dogs are family members, they live with us in our house. Frank's parents were show and working line Kuvasz breeders, I grew up breeding and raising working line Malamutes. We have over 40 years of breeding experience combined but we never stop learning and researching. We are dedicated to breed Border Collies with excellent temperament and medium drive. Our main focus is to provide families with the perfect pets who can do it all if desired. Our dogs excel in all venues from the show ring to the agility course. Our puppies are hand raised, the whelping box is right by our desks where we work. They're never alone and they're constantly being stimulated by introducing them to a number of different surfaces, sounds, lights, people, dogs, etc. from a very early age. The puppies don't leave the "nest" before 9-10 weeks old, and they go to their new families microchipped, with shot records, and puppy packs. All of our dogs are DNA tested for diseases, hips and elbow screened at the age of 2 years by the Orthopedic Foundation For Animals (OFA). We only use fully health tested animals in our breeding program. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask us. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
