Aspen

Meet Aspen! He is a male 3 month old Great Pyrenees puppy. He weighed 25lbs around 2 months, and we expect him to be around 90-100lbs when fully grown. He is goofy, playful, and affectionate, always ready to shower his favorite humans with kisses! Aspen is very sweet and loving, and enjoys following his people around the house. When you're sitting, he likes to rest his paws in your lap and give out kisses, and he'll even lick the air to send you affection from afar.

Ideal Home

Aspen would thrive in a home that understands he's a teething puppy who will grow to be a very large dog. He must go to a home with another dog to play with and help teach him manners.

Training & Support

Aspen is still learning to be gentle with cats and will sometimes chase them. He is learning to be gentle and is not yet fully aware of his size. He is house-trained and has learned to sit. He isn't a big fan of his crate and will howl initially, but settles down after about 10 minutes. He is still working on leash manners and can pull if he doesn't want to go a certain way. Socialization with new people, dogs, and experiences would be very helpful to build his confidence.

Transporation

Aspen is currently in a foster home in the DFW area of Texas. Adopters must arrange their own transport as we do not provide any.
