My name is AJ and I'm an adolescent male Doberman, estimated to be between 3-5 years old. I was picked up as a stray and feel so lucky to have been rescued by a rescue organization. I'm an all-natural boy with a full tail, and I sometimes like to chase it! I'm friendly and playful, but I do need training and patience.

Ideal Home

I need a home with people who have current Doberman experience and the time and patience to work with me. I cannot go into a home with small dogs or cats. A fenced yard is usually required, and I do not do well in homes with very young children (under 8 years old) due to my size and energy.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on all vaccinations, on monthly heartworm preventative, and have been neutered.

Training & Support

I am an adolescent male who needs training and patience. I can be boisterous and may accidentally knock over small children, so patience and understanding will be key to my success.
