Meet Eugene! This perfectly distinguished, delightfully spoiled 1.5-year-old gentleman has certainly earned his keep. Found as a stray in rough shape – emaciated, covered in scabs and wounds, and missing all his fur – Eugene has made an incredible transformation thanks to dedicated care. Now healthy, happy, and with a full coat, he’s ready to find the forever home he’s always deserved. Eugene enjoys the simple things: leisurely walks, cozy naps, and being close to his people. He walks beautifully on a leash, is a total snuggle bug, and expects morning cuddles. He's potty trained and crate trained, viewing his crate as a safe haven, and does well when left loose in the home. Highly food-motivated, he's learned to take treats gently. Eugene is good with cats, mostly ignoring them but occasionally inviting them to play. He's incredibly tolerant and patient with other dogs, matching energy levels well and being gentle with smaller pups. He’s even enjoyed himself in dog parks and brewery settings!

Ongoing Health

Due to his past condition, Eugene has some skin allergies. These are well-managed with medication and medicated baths or mousse.

Training & Support

Eugene is potty trained and crate trained. He is also good at taking treats gently.
