Meet Rex! This sweet, one-year-old pit bull mix is a true testament to resilience and love. He came to us with a significant hip injury that required major surgery when he was younger. After months of recovery, Rex is feeling like a brand-new dog and you'd never guess he'd been through so much! He's bursting with life and fun, loves to play with other dogs, and is working on his leash skills and household manners. Rex especially enjoys a good belly rub and has been a social butterfly on Doggy Day Outs, making new friends at restaurants like a true gentleman! With his eager spirit and unconditional love, Rex is ready to face any challenge and fill his forever home with joy.

Rex underwent major hip surgery as a pup and has made a full recovery. He is now feeling great and you'd never know he had an injury!

Training & Support

Like all rescue dogs, Rex will benefit from ongoing training and socialization in his new home to help him continue to learn household manners and leash skills. He's a smart boy who is eager to please!

Transporation

Rex is located in South Carolina, but we provide transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We are happy to arrange local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
