Luke

Luke is a gorgeous, tricolored Miniature Aussie who weighs about 30 lbs and was born in 2016. He spent the first five years of his life as a breeder dog, and sadly, he was mistreated. Luke is very nervous and shy around people, but he is not mean and has never offered to bite, even when scared. He simply wants to melt into the wall to get away. Despite his shyness, he will run to the front of his run, clearly longing for gentle pets, but he's just so unsure. He does enjoy being brushed and tolerates being trimmed with clippers well.

Ideal Home

Luke needs a quiet home where he can be the only dog. He has shown aggression towards other male dogs and while he's shown some promise with females, it's best he be the sole canine companion as he continues to come out of his shell. He does not like cats. Luke is a significant flight risk and will require a home with a totally fenced-in yard (physical fence). He also needs to be adopted to a home with no children.
