Rex is a handsome male Cattle Dog Mix, around 3 years old and weighing about 35 lbs. He's a joyful, playful, and energetic boy who truly loves life! Rex isn't overly clingy, but he is very sweet and enjoys being near his people in his own gentle way. He has a fun personality and is always ready for play, exploration, and new adventures. Rex was rescued in May 2023 when he was just 2 months old and has been waiting for his forever family ever since. He's the last pup from his litter still hoping to find his perfect match.
Ideal Home
Rex would thrive in an active and loving home that enjoys outdoor activities like running, hiking, and being included in everyday adventures. He needs a family that will provide structure, patience, and love. A home with a fenced backyard is preferred. He is not house-trained, so a family prepared for this is essential.
Ongoing Health
Rex has a comprehensive health protocol including a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, a 4DX test and certificate, a negative heartworm test certificate, and monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection for fleas, ticks, and heartworms. He also has a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Rex is not house-trained, and this will require dedicated effort and patience from his new family. He is intelligent and eager to learn, walks well on a leash, and is crate trained. His new family should have experience in dog behavior and training and be willing to allow him at least three months to show his best personality.
