Honey

Meet Honey! This sweet, gentle German Shepherd girl has a soft heart and a playful side just waiting to shine. While she may be shy when meeting new people, once she feels safe and learns to trust you, Honey becomes an affectionate and loyal companion who loves staying close to her people and giving the gentlest kisses. She is quiet and sensitive, and she will do best with a patient family who understands that building trust takes a little time. The reward is watching Honey's personality bloom into the loving, happy dog she truly is.

Ideal Home

Honey thrives in a calm, structured home and needs a securely fenced yard (minimum 5-foot fence required). Because she can still become startled in new situations, she will need careful supervision and should remain on leash in the yard during her adjustment period while she learns that she's safe and home for good.

Training & Support

Honey is housebroken and crate trained and has wonderful house manners. She needs a playful medium or large canine companion in her forever home to help continue building her confidence and show her how fun life can be. Honey enjoys running, chasing, and playing with her dog friends and often follows their lead. Like many shepherds, she can occasionally be a little awkward and may try to herd or gently nip during play, so a dog comfortable with that play style would be ideal.
