Steve Harvey

Steve Harvey is a handsome 2-year-old purebred Labrador with a heart of gold. He came to us with many other labs through no fault of their own and is a gentle soul who needs a little extra love and patience. Steve is slowly blossoming in his foster home and has been with us for a few months now. He gets along well with other dogs and absolutely adores playing with his toys. Steve is a smart, athletic, and food-motivated boy. His shy nature and lack of socialization mean he can be a bit of a project, but he's making great progress! He loves playing with toys outside, sometimes even playing soccer by himself. He thrives on routine and has been doing well with his household manners. Once comfortable, Steve is incredibly sweet and gentle, and he's eagerly waiting for a dedicated forever home to offer him guidance and love.

Steve would do best in a home that can provide him with the routine and gentle guidance he needs to continue to build his confidence.

Ongoing Health

Steve is a healthy boy who is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Steve is a bit shy and can be flighty due to a lack of socialization. He needs a patient adopter who can continue to work on building his confidence and socialization. He is doing well with household manners and is food-motivated, which will be a great asset in his training journey.

Transporation

Steve is currently located in South Carolina but is transported to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new furry friend. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
