About Rusty

Rusty is a fun-loving and energetic boy who was adopted from us as a puppy. Unfortunately, he found himself back with us around 8 months old, but now he's ready to find his TRUE forever family! Rusty is a fantastic dog who loves to play with his doggy friends and then relax on the couch with his people. He has overcome challenges and is a truly wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Rusty would do wonderfully in a family with children and other dogs. He does well on a leash and is looking for a home where he can get plenty of exercise and affection. We do not recommend Rusty for homes with cats, as he enjoys chasing them a bit too much.

Ongoing Health

Rusty has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested, and started on flea and tick prevention.

Training & Support

Rusty is house-trained and crate-trained. He may whine for a couple of minutes when first put in his crate, but he settles down quickly.
