South

Meet South, a sweet and social male Pit Bull Terrier who's ready to leave his past behind! South was rescued from the streets of South Memphis after a rescue effort for a puppy turned into saving three adult dogs as well. He arrived with some injuries common to dogs surviving on their own, including damage to one of his front paw pads and old ear injuries. Despite his rough start, South has never stopped wanting to connect with people. He's steadily learned to trust the people caring for him, and once he feels safe, his affectionate and gentle personality truly shines through. He enjoys companionship, seeks out attention, and simply wants a person to call his own. South is a dog-friendly boy with moderate energy who has healed from his street injuries.
