PERCY

Percy is a delightful 6-month-old mixed breed who came to us on March 25, 2025, after being found abandoned with two other dogs. She's a young, impressionable pup who happily follows the lead of those around her, whether they're human or canine. If other dogs are quiet, Percy is too, but she's also happy to join in on the barking fun if the mood strikes! She was very eager to leave her kennel for a walk and soak up some attention. Percy is responsive to gentle guidance and kindness, and while she might be a bit picky about treats, she absolutely lights up when she hears a whistle! She's a smart, playful, and wonderfully tomboyish sweetheart.

Ideal Home

Percy thrives on interaction and attention. As she's still learning, she tends to mimic the behavior of other dogs, so a home with a calm, established canine companion could be a great fit for her.

Ongoing Health

Percy is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is also microchipped and receives monthly flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Percy is still learning the ropes and can be influenced by the behavior of other dogs. Gentle guidance and positive reinforcement, especially using whistling to get her attention, will be key to her continued success.

• Percy's adoption fee is $150. This fee helps cover her spay, vaccinations, worming, monthly flea and heartworm preventive, microchip, and care while at CCHS.

Percy is located at Clay County Humane Society in Brazil, IN. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
