PENELOPE- Needs a foster/forever home!

Penelope is a sweet Lab and Terrier mix, estimated to be born in 2022. She had a recent veterinary visit that revealed a hematoma, which has since resolved. Penelope finds shelter life very stressful and is in urgent need of a foster or forever home where she can relax and be the happy girl she is! She absolutely loves being with people, riding in the car, playing outdoors, and especially snuggling on the couch. She also enjoys gazing out the window. Penelope is good with other dogs after a slow introduction, but her compatibility with cats is unknown. She would do best in a home with children aged 7 and older.

Ideal Home

A home with a completely enclosed, physically fenced yard is required. Penelope needs a place where she can go on furniture and snuggle with her family.

Ongoing Health

Penelope's hematoma has resolved. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and on monthly heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Penelope is house and crate trained. We require all dogs over 1 year of age to attend one obedience class (6-week session) outside the home.
