Howie

Meet Howie! This happy, gentle Lab-Rhodesian Ridgeback-Pit mix is a loverboy! Howie is 5-1/2 years young and has a heart full of love to give. He was rescued from a California shelter in very rough shape, and while he had major skin issues and hair loss, he looks so much better now! He's incredibly appreciative of love and attention and is a very affectionate boy. He's a big snuggler and will want to share your bed. He loves going for walks and other outings. He's been waiting a long time for his own home, and we're hoping he can find a foster or forever home soon. Howie weighs about 55-60 lbs.

Ideal Home

Howie is good with some dogs but not others, so he would probably thrive as the only dog in the home, or with a submissive female.

Ongoing Health

Howie previously had major skin issues and hair loss but has recovered well.

Howie is house-trained.
