Grady

Grady is a big, sweet guy looking for a comfy dog bed and a fun family! This handsome Pit Bull Terrier, born around May 21, 2018, weighs about 75 lbs. He came to us as a stray with a severe skin condition, but after a lot of care, he's ready to find his forever home. Grady is a people-lover with a medium-high energy level and gets along wonderfully with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Grady would do best in a home without cats, as he can be a bit too enthusiastic with them. A fenced-in yard is a plus, and an active family that enjoys walks, hikes, and playtime would be perfect for this energetic boy. He needs a home with owners experienced with large dogs and basic training.

Ongoing Health

Grady has a history of skin issues, which will require ongoing management and vet care. He currently receives weekly medicated baths, takes Apoquel twice daily, antifungal medication once daily, and a skin supplement daily. He also eats a prescription diet. His skin condition may change with the seasons, and his medical routine might need adjustments.

Training & Support

Grady is a smart and food-motivated boy who is housebroken and crate trained. He still needs a little work on basic manners. His love for food makes him a great candidate for training and learning new tricks!
